Joss Whedon's 'Dollhouse' canceled

"Dollhouse" closes at Fox.

The network has canceled cult fave Joss Whedon, who in May beat the odds with the resumption of the second season despite low ratings.

Sci-Fi series, which is filming episode 11, is scheduled to end its 13-episode order. Whedon is said to be on board and plans to give the show a fitting end with a grand finale.

After some poor results in the fall, despite the harshness of the rating "Dollhouse", obtained by viewing the DVR, Fox for the show bench sweep in November after four episodes.

Fox plans to air all the episodes produced of "Dollhouse," which will return with an original 4 December, as planned.

"Dollhouse" star Eliza Dushku as a woman of change in the DNA that is implanted false memories for different missions and tasks.

Fox has already chosen Breakout freshman dramedy "Glee" for a full season, while sophomore drama "Lie To Me" is awaiting an order episodes after receiving an order for three additional scripts last month. Freshman comedy "Brothers" is still awaiting his fate, but his chances are not good.
