Ultimately, it was Taylor Swift.

Even in the early years and a half.

The multi-platinum 19 years has won the prestigious trophy of the Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year at the 43rd Annual CMA Awards, held Wednesday evening at the Summit Center.

Swift is the first woman to win the only trophy in a decade, and is the youngest person to take the class. She also won the Best Video Album (Fearless) and better ( "Fearless," directed by Trey Fanjoy), Carrie Underwood and ended three years reign as the top female vocalist of the AMC.

Swift was nominated in four categories and won four categories, opened the show with a performance and ended the show with the artist and win the fans screaming for his every move on stage and at every mention of his name.

The rule of Swift is not devoid of intrigue. Forecasters trimmed, improved enemy and at variance with the other eight of the nine categories of high (Brad Paisley was a heavy favorite as a singer, won for the third consecutive year), especially the theater. Kenny Chesney, who completed the NFL stadiums, which in turn stops this summer, and who sometimes wore an opening act named Taylor Swift won the award four of the past five years, and had he won on Wednesday would be higher than Garth Brooks won the CMA entertainer of all time.

"I'll never forget," said Swift, crying when she won the show. "Because at that moment, All I Ever Wanted happened to me."

This year, Swift album has sold more than any living artist in any genre.

'It is the greatest artist of the music, period, by far, "said Paisley, who co-organized the exhibition with Underwood. "So one side down (something) that she is an artist of the year."

Swift victory was not only history making moment of the evening.

Darius Rucker, whose burst of attention 14 years ago as frontman of pop-rock band Hootie & the Blowfish, became the first African American to win a CMA new artist of the year. Released on Capitol Nashville, Rucker, learn to live album spawned three No. 1 country.

"What a year," said Rucker, accepting the award. "(Capitol Leader) Mike Dungan, everyone says I'm crazy. They said that would not work. ... For fans, thank y'all for accepting me. And country radio has a chance in a pop singer from Charleston, SC, and God bless you all for that. "

Backstage, Rucker thought last September, when her learn to live album was released.

"Best-case scenario, I thought maybe it was the third single would get in the Top 10, and then we'll see what we could do. ... Now, I will do a lot more records, thanks for that. I'm proud to be the guy who is where Charley Pride left, and trying to make country music that people want to listen. "

Top new artist last year, according Nashville trio Lady Antebellum, has triumphed in a category of the vocal group that included a formative influences of the group, the Eagles and the superstar group Rascal Flatts, who won the sixth year in row.

"Rascal Flatts, this is certainly big shoes to fill," said Lady Antebellum Charles Kelley. "We do not feel worthy enough. But we had the most incredible years, we have made many friends in this area, and everyone seems so positive. Our goal is to do this for a long, long time."

The group "I Run To You" was named best individual, a victory shared by producers Paul Worley and Victoria Shaw.

"Without them, I do not think that the song would have shined through," said Kelley.

Jamey Johnson the single "In Color" was judged the best song of the year.

Written by Johnson, Lee Thomas Miller and James Otto, "Color" also won an Academy of Country Music song most prestigious award in April. The song gives Johnson his hand, by year AMC has also won in 2007 for co-writing George Strait hit "Give It Away."

"I never thought y'all would not even let me come to things like this," said Johnson, whose deep Alabama drawl and beard hobbits are very different from those in the other AMC, especially clean and bright candidates. Later, Johnson made another bandit, Kid Rock, has decided to do a duet on "Between Jennings and Jones."

Kid Rock was not around stage like an act out like this: Dave Matthews sings with Kenny Chesney, ZZ Top and Brooks & Dunn joined in what was billed as the final appearance of the AMC Brooks & Dunn: The duo is calling it quits in 2010, which led many to believe the voters give them the prize CMA vocal duo who have won 14 times in the past. Instead, Sugarland won the prize for the third consecutive time.

"We do not expect these things, but we have certainly not this year," said Jennifer Nettles Sugarland, receiving the trophy. Nettles attempted to call Kix Brooks, Ronnie Dunn and speaking, but they refused. "Thanks for what you did for us," he said Nettles. "Thanks for what you did for country music."
