Lindsay Lohan talks acting and jail in Vanity Fair Interview

Actress Lindsay Lohan newly opened up to Vanity Fair in an exclusive new interview.  The celebrity star was newly behind bars for a short time before heading to rehab.  In the latest issues of the magazine, Lohan dishes on her trial, legal situation, her family and her acting career.
Looking fresh-faced and ready to embrace her new life post-jail and rehab, Lindsay Lohan drove a new Maserati to a Santa Monica nurse s office Thursday afternoon, August 26, 2010. Lohan parked in a spot reserved for one of the doctors in the building, where most of the offices are designated for psychiatrics and counseling. The cute and casual ex-convict greeted the swarm of photographers with a smile, before hopping on the elevator with her entourage of assistants. Fame Pictures, Inc

According to VanityFair.com, Lohan believes her career is far from over.  She is quoted in the magazine as saying: “I don’t care what anyone says. I know that I’m a damn good actress. … And I know that in my past I was young and irresponsible—but that’s what growing up is. You learn from your mistakes."  She also speaks about drugs and alcohol, denying that she ever abused any drugs including prescription.  She also adds that her troubles came as a result of hanging with the wrong crowd, and doesn't really seem to put any blame on her father, in the interview at least.  She does note that it was unnatural to see him at her trial, but then that he turned right surrounding after it was over to give interviews.

The other appealing thing in the interview is Lohan's involvement with the paparazzi.  The interviewer talked to several of the photographers who have been in contact with Lohan, and they note that she will accept money in replacement for letting them take snapshots.  Apparently, Lohan will take $10,000 in argument for them getting their most recent pics.  Interesting behavior for an actress who believes she's got an amazing career still ahead of her.  There's been estimates that Lohan will get $1 million for an interview on TV, so that remains to be seen too.

Do you believe that Lohan will ever truly reform her habits and suit the star actress she believes she will be?  Or will her habits continue to haunt her life and career?
